Kroger is proud of its annual fund-raising efforts to support the Riley Hospital for Children. Many Kroger associate families have personally been touched by the staff at Riley and feel the need to give back by raising contributions through in-store programs such as icon and holiday card sales.

In 2005, Kroger honored the Riley Hospital for Children by naming it as the benefit partner of its sponsorship for NASCAR Busch Series race, titled as "The Kroger 200 Benefiting the Riley Hospital For Children". The race capped a weeklong series of charity promotions that now include the annual “Kroger Race For Riley presented by Cheerios and WIBC Radio”.

Now entering its 10th year, the race has become one of our most passionate fund-raising events of the year, targeting both customers and race fans.

Kroger looks forward to growing the event and continuing to increase the over $700,000 that has been donated to Riley Hospital for Children.
