New Castle Motorsports Park is located about 40 minutes from either Indianapolis or Richmond just off of I-70 at exit 123, just behind the “Flying J” truck stop. We are open from the middle of March through the middle of November, daily at 10:00am. We are a racing facility. We had a total of 26 races on our ’05 schedule, which means we have a race nearly every weekend from early April through the Middle of October. We opened our doors for practice on April 1st of 2004 and hosted our first race on the 18th of the same month.

We are a very spectator friendly facility. There are plenty of FREE viewing areas to watch any of the events that take place here. We host races ranging from our local series to STARS of Karting as well as a 200-mile endurance race. In addition to the weekly racing we also have rental karts available nearly every day and also host corporate parties. In addition to corporate events we can also accommodate birthday parties or any other special occasion ranging in size from 10 people to 200. Since we also have a full restaurant, we also offer catering services. We are a very diverse facility with changes taking place every year. We are currently in the process of adding a paved oval and another road course to our facility.

Dave Wilson of 1070 WIBC originally contacted us with the prospect of holding the race here at our facility. Hosting the “Race for Riley” is an excellent opportunity to be part of a great cause, so we jumped at the chance. The past two years have been great working with Dave Wilson, John Andretti, Linda Conti, and the staff at General Mills and Kroger.
