INDIANAPOLIS, IN – NASCAR driver John Andretti is set to again help out Riley Hospital for Children. This marks the 10^th year John has committed himself to helping raise money to support the wonderful work done at Riley.

John will begin his involvement for the week with a visit to the Hospital Monday, August 1st, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Andretti will visit the children, sign autographs, and hand out goodie bags from General Mills. He will be joined by 2 of the General Mills cereals characters that are always very popular with the kids.

The Kroger Race for Riley presented by Cheerios will take place on Wednesday,

August 3rd from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the New Castle Motorsports Park. The event is open to the public and everyone attending can enjoy food, radio controlled racing, the Allstate NASCAR simulator and participate in a wonderful silent auction. Other drivers expected to attend and sign autographs include, Sarah Fisher, Boston Reid, Ricky Rudd and some surprises. In addition, WIBC radio personality Dave “The King” Wilson will broadcast his show live from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on both the 1st & 3rd.

One of the highlights will be the annual media race set to begin @ 2:00 PM. There will be 11 media members competing against John Andretti for bragging rights.

The action on the track will feature individuals who have paid $50 and will race in various heats, with the winners having the opportunity to race against John Andretti. In addition, those that donate $250 will be guaranteed a spot in a race against John.
