Andretti Green Racing opens up the race shop for private tour with Riley Kids...

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Andretti Green Racing has opened their doors to current and past Riley Hospital for Children patients to see the inner-workings of a championship IndyCar race shop. Five Riley patients and their families will attend the private tour, set-up thanks to John Andretti’s efforts, on Monday, July 20 at 10 a.m.

 

Each of the children attending the tour are big fans of auto racing. At the time of the tour, Andretti Green Racing will be preparing for their upcoming trip to Edmonton, site of the next IndyCar Series race. The names of the children attending include:

 

  • Nick Long, Brownsburg
  • A.J. Stinger, Marion
  • Creed Fritz, West Terre Haute
  • Christopher Fritz, West Terre Haute
  • Brooks Levy, Trafalgar  

 

John Andretti is in town for the Brickyard 400 and his 13th annual Kroger Race for Riley Presented by Cheerios, a go-kart event benefiting Riley Hospital for Children. This year’s event is Wednesday, July 22 at Mark Dismore’s New Castle Motorsports Park. The event has raised more than $1 million for Riley Hospital.
